“ It was fun to sit at the bar and watch the team make amazing cocktails and chat about random topics. Mushroom miso is spectacular. Sashimi salad + a classic roll was perfect for dinner. Highly recommend visiting for a drink and/or dinner!! ”
“ This is a favorite place to go when in Tahoe. It's a little on the expensive side, but they have creative rolls. You'll definitely want to get your name on the list and be prepared to wait. It is worth it! ”
“ Delicious sushi! Very flavorful. Can get busy here though so plan ahead and make sure you get your order in asap when you're seated. ”
“ Buddy took me here a couple years ago. Very impressed. Bbq Albacore is a must try. Took my family here a couple months ago and they loved it. Kids watching YouTube videos from Nick DiGiovanni eating sushi were pumped to try it for the first time. Named fish set the bar really high. May be disappointed trying other sushi joints after this. :) ”
“ The server was good and friendly. Good hot sake & beer. I ordered: * BBQ albacore: 10/10 - I can't eat very spicy food, so it was good. * Scallop with mushrooms: 9/10 - The seaweed didn't match well. * Heavenly roll: 7/10 - Just fine. * Seared albacore: 6/10 - The caramelized onions didn't pair well with the sashimi. Also, pricey for only four pieces. * Miso soup: 4/10 - Too salty ”
“ Once again this place never fails it's amazing and delicious! Service outstanding. I always have my favorites stunna and shrimp tempura. This spot is not too big inside but they do have a back room where you can sit at the bar and catch a game :) very lovely Ps: if you like wasabi make sure to get real wasabi ask your server ;) you're welcome! ”
“ Well, we had a great time here! Seeing the reviews I had mixed feelings, but you never know what a place is gonna bring until you swing by. Just take a gamble and try it out. Imagine when we didn't have Yelp to guide us, just gotta risk it sometimes and live on the edge. Anyways, this place gets 5 stars from me. The otoro was amazing, ikura was solid the sushi roll with shrimp tempura and hamachi was great! I really enjoyed the sake from Aomori! Really surprised, they had it. The fish tank with the little puffer fish is a nice surprise. The service was quick and friendly as well! Our server took the time to answer my husband's weird questions about his side salad, he is the worst. Lol. It's really lively and worth a visit if you are craving some sushi! ”
“ Wow--The Naked Fish is by far one of the best sushi spots I've ever eaten at and you cannot beat the price! We ordered 6 rolls for about $120 which is far from reality compared to where we're located. The signatures rolls were innovative and scrumptious. Beautifully presented and typically dishes that usually seem basic were totally elevated. The staff were friendly and a lot of fun, and the overall vibe was this hip style with mellow locals that really made the spot feel cozy and familiar. Definitely will be coming to eat here again next time I'm in Tahoe! ”
“ We enjoyed our food here. We ordered the chicken teriyakiand the Maui Wowie roll. I took off a star because they brought out my husbands plate about 15 minutes before my roll was ready. I understand one was the grill and the other was sushi but they should have held back the grill ticket until sushi was almost ready. Coming from a background of waitressing this was just a newbie error. Give them a good it's a good little spot. Food- solid 4 Service-4 Ambience - 4 ”
